Starting with the upcoming 2025 tax season, the IRS will no longer be issuing paper checks for tax refunds. That means if you're expecting a refund, you’ll need one of the following:

✅ A bank account for direct deposit
OR
✅ Be issued a prepaid pay card (if no bank info is provided)

This change is aimed at speeding up the refund process and reducing lost or stolen checks. If you don’t already have a bank account, now is the time to open one to avoid delays or complications!
