⚙️ How to Turn Off the “Check Engine” Light in 3 Simple Steps 🔧🚗💡

1️⃣ Open the hood and disconnect the battery
Locate your car battery and remove the negative (-) cable using a wrench or socket. The negative terminal usually has a black cap marked with a minus sign ➖. Disconnecting it cuts power to the vehicle’s systems.

2️⃣ Drain the remaining electricity
With the battery disconnected, press the horn for 30 seconds or switch on the headlights. ⚡🚨
Even though nothing will turn on, this step helps empty any stored electrical energy in the system’s capacitors, ensuring a full reset.

3️⃣ Wait 15 minutes, then reconnect
Leave the battery disconnected for 15 minutes ⏳. This gives the ECU time to reset completely.
After that, reconnect the negative (-) cable securely. Once restored, the vehicle’s memory clears the stored error codes, and the Check Engine light should turn off ✨.

🔍 Keep in mind: if the light comes back after driving, the issue is still present and needs proper diagnosis.
