Last week, our team traveled to Palm Springs for the 2026 Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Summit! We were inspired by Michael Horwitz’s outstanding keynote and proud to support our member firms—Sorren and Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund—as recipients of this year’s AAM-MAA Awards, and WilkinGuttenplan's Karen Waga for her distinction of 2026 Marketer of the Year!

We also hosted a breakfast for our member firms, which was a great opportunity to connect and celebrate the strength of our within the broader AAM organization.

One of the biggest takeaways from this year’s Summit was the importance of community—a theme our members clearly identified in a Word cloud during our breakfast, and one that continues to define the AAM experience. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone next year in Chicago as we welcome the newly rebranded Association for Accounting Growth (AAG)!

Join us this Memorial Day as we pause to reflect and honor those who lost their lives in service to our country.

In addition to our Alliance Awards, we were proud to recognize two outstanding leaders at for their exceptional contributions to the BDO Alliance USA program.

🏆 Kevin Patterson received our Trailblazer Award, presented to a BDO USA professional who consistently goes above and beyond in supporting the BDO Alliance USA program and its members, demonstrating the true value of collaboration and strong relationships. Kevin was a natural choice for this recognition because of his unwavering commitment to the Alliance and the meaningful impact he continues to make.

🏆 Armando Hernandez, Founder and CEO of H&CO USA, received our Leadership Award, which honors leaders dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment and investing in the future of the profession. Armando’s commitment to accounting, mentorship, and supporting the next generation makes him especially deserving of this recognition.
