Best wishes for a Happy New Year 2022 filled with health, happiness and prosperity!
Here is the new update on the starting of 2022 Tax season. The Internal Revenue Service has announced that the 2022 tax season will start on Monday, January 24, 2022. The IRS encourages everyone to have all the information they need in hand to make sure they file a complete and accurate return. Having an accurate tax return can avoid processing delays, refund delays and later IRS notices. This is especially important for people who received advance Child Tax Credit payments or Economic Impact Payments (American Rescue Plan stimulus payments) in 2021. They will need the amounts of these payments when preparing their 2021 tax returns. The IRS will be mailing letters to recipients in January 2022.
We look forward to helping you this year to maximize your tax refunds and minimize your tax liabilities.
Best Regards,

MAILING POSTCARDS
Don’t wait: Non-Filers must act by Oct. 15, 2020 to get stimulus payment.
The registration deadline for non-filers to claim an Economic Impact Payment through the Non-Filers tool is Oct. 15, 2020. People can also wait until next year and claim it as a credit on their 2020 federal income tax return by filing in 2021. Individuals can receive up to $1,200, and married couples can receive up to $2,400. People with qualifying children under age 17 at the end of 2019 can get up to an additional $500 for each qualifying child. The IRS emphasizes that anyone required to file either a 2018 or 2019 tax return should file the tax return and not use the Non-Filers tool.
