This Fourth of July marks a historic milestone:
The 250th Anniversary of the United States of America!
As our nation reflects on two and a half centuries of history, freedom, and progress, it is a wonderful reminder of how far we have come and all that lies ahead.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and festive Independence Day! From our team to yours, enjoy the fireworks, the food, and the people you love.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause.” Today, we reflect with gratitude on the courage, service, and sacrifice that continue to shape our nation.

Received a Notice CP53E from the IRS? Here’s what it means:
The IRS was not able to process your direct deposit, so your refund will be issued another way. Direct deposit is typically faster, although you need to act quickly - within 30 days from the letter date - to adjust banking information. After 30 days with no action, your refund will default to a paper check. But either way, your refund is still on the way.
You can:
• Add/update banking info through your ID.me account for direct deposit
• Do nothing after 30 days, which will default to a paper check, which can take more time
