LOSING A SPOUSE CAN CHANGE YOUR TAX BILL.

The “widow’s penalty” can begin when your filing status changes from joint to single.

💡 Your tax brackets may shrink
💡 Your standard deduction may drop
💡 Medicare premiums may increase later

The key? Plan during the window when you can still file jointly.

Roth conversions.
Capital gains planning.
Basis step-up.
Medicare planning.

Don’t wait until the window closes.

💰 SELLING A HIGHLY APPRECIATED ASSET? WAIT BEFORE YOU SIGN.

Selling a business, real estate, or another highly appreciated asset can create a significant tax bill—but there may be strategies worth exploring before the sale is finalized. 👀

One potential strategy can help you defer capital gains, but it requires careful planning and must be considered before the transaction is completed.

💡 OWN MORE THAN ONE BUSINESS? YOU MAY BE MISSING A TAX OPPORTUNITY.

If you own multiple businesses, the way they’re treated for tax purposes could have a significant impact on your Section 199A deduction.👀

There are strategies that may allow certain businesses to be considered together—but the rules aren’t automatic, and the right approach depends on your specific situation.

Could your businesses be structured in a way that maximizes your deduction?

📩 Contact Premier Business Solutions to review your situation and find out what tax-planning opportunities you may be overlooking.

💡 PLANNING A LARGE CHARITABLE DONATION?

A charitable donation may provide a valuable tax deduction—but a legitimate donation doesn’t automatically mean a deductible donation. 👀

When you give property instead of cash, the IRS has specific rules that can affect whether you receive the tax benefit you expect.

Before you donate, make sure you understand what could put your deduction at risk.

📩 Contact Premier Business Solutions before making a significant charitable contribution. We can help you plan ahead and understand the tax implications.

💼 STARTING A BUSINESS? DON’T OVERLOOK YOUR STARTUP COSTS.

You may be spending money on your new business long before you officially open the doors. But how those expenses are treated for tax purposes may not be as straightforward as you think. 👀

Timing matters. And not every expense gets the same tax treatment.

Planning to start or purchase a business? The best time to think about your tax strategy is before you start spending.

💰 BONUS DEPRECIATION OR SECTION 179—WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOUR BUSINESS?

If you’re planning to purchase equipment or other business assets, the tax strategy you choose could have a lasting impact on your return.👀

These two options may look similar, but they don’t work exactly the same—and the better choice depends on your business and your long-term goals.

Planning a major business purchase this year? Don’t make the decision based on the tax deduction alone.

📩 Contact Premier Business Solutions before you buy. We can help you determine which strategy may make the most sense for your situation.

💡 Can your charitable giving also benefit your business?

For some business owners, the way they support a cause may have tax implications they haven’t considered. 👀

But there’s an important distinction between a personal charitable contribution and a payment that may qualify as a business expense.

Before making a large donation or sponsorship, make sure you know how it could be treated for tax purposes.

📩 Contact Premier Business Solutions to discuss your charitable giving strategy before you make the contribution.

🚨 THINK YOUR CHARITABLE DONATION IS AUTOMATICALLY TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Think again.

A legitimate donation can still become a lost tax deduction if the IRS-required documentation isn’t handled correctly. 👀

Planning to donate clothing, household items, artwork, real estate, or other property?

Before you give, make sure you know what could put your deduction at risk.

📩 Contact Premier Business Solutions before making a significant charitable donation. We can help you understand the tax implications and plan ahead.
