RETAIL RESCUE SPOTLIGHT! We are so proud to partner with Dollar General across our 20 county service region. Recently Niki Bishop, our Retail Food Rescue Coordinator, got to travel to Dollar General regional leadership gatherings and say thank you to all of the stores that partner with us!

Through Dollar General's retail rescue program, they are actively working to get wholesome, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste in landfills to our neighbors in need. They are turning potential environmental waste into sustenance for our community. They aren't just feeding people, they are helping their neighbors. It's not just surplus food moved off a truck, it's a glass of fresh milk for someone that is having a hard time putting food on the table.

One of our hunger relief partners food pantries shared, "because of Dollar General we are able to place more food into our neighbors hands. We are so thankful for them!"
