So, this CPA and a self-proclaimed MacGyver for business owners walk into a bookstore.

Sounds like the beginning of a corny joke, but around here, it's just tomorrow's webinar. 😎

Because our very own Adam Boatsman & Gary Frey have written books, and somewhere between "I should probably write this down" and seeing their names in print, they learned there's a whole other business hiding under the covers.

Who edits it? Who designs it? Who markets it? What does it actually cost? What does a publisher actually do? And, by the way, does "bestseller" mean you sold a lot of books or just paid a lot for the title of bestseller?

(Turns out, credibility can come at a price.)

So, even if you don't plan on writing a book, you've probably given someone a little extra credibility because they did.

It's why we think knowing what happens behind the scenes is so important.

One of the things we love about Charlotte is how many people are quietly making a difference every day.

This week, a few of our Charlotte teammates spent the morning volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank, helping sort and pack food that will make its way to families across our community.

We're grateful for organizations like Second Harvest and for every volunteer who shows up there daily.
