The most amazing part about setting goals is watching as they manifest. Some goals take shape much quicker than others but whatever it is that you desire you can have as long as you are intentional about it….

2010 was my goal setting year when I became focused on my future. Since 2010 I have had the goals of becoming an HR Professional and of entrepreneurship and in 2012 I wrote a list of business ideas that I thought I might want to pursue. 2016 while pregnant with my son I thought of pursuing a professional cleaning company to help pregnant woman keep a clean home during pregnancy.

In December of 2017 I sparked the idea of Shannon Estelle Solutions a virtual assisting business. In 2018 I started contracting as a virtual assistant on a part time based and after a long internal debate I took a leap in 2019 to go at it full time.

Leaving my uncomfortable space in Corporate America was the hardest yet easiest thing I could do for so many reasons but I’m glad I did. It gave me space to create. Since 2018 I have managed many projects for so many small business owners that have helped them grow and scale their companies and in 2020 there was a surplus of small business owners looking to do just that. I most definitely wanted to do the same for myself and in 2020 I made room for additional income options. Given the state of the world I thought it would be a great time to start that cleaning company, so I did and ProCare Cleaning Solutions was born and has definitely kept me busy. Doing payroll for the first time ever, creating policy and procedures and working on ways to recruit to staff my cleaning contracts.. I have had my challenges for sure but it has also been fun!!

But today I’m taking a step towards pursuing a goal that I set out to achieve when I took my first Masters Level class in 2008, of becoming an HR professional. I accepted an offer with a tech company that will allow me to grow and develop the skills I need to become the HR Processional I dreamed of becoming. It’s an exciting endeavor that I’m looking forward to watching as it manifest. As for the future of Shannon Estelle Solutions, keep watching as it unfolds. ♥️✌🏽✨

So I am trying my hand at basic website design for a client to challenge my comfort zone a bit... why lord why😂😂and let me just say I have a new found respect for graphic and website designers....

But what comes to mind for me as I am working in this space is that sometimes as solo entrepreneurs we can take on more than we should while working our business and it is critical to know what will push you over your limit and to delegate those things to others who can handle the load. It’s not that you are incapable of doing it but someone else could be better positioned to help elevate your business .

As for me and this website.... we both will be great😁
