Alison M. Eddings, CPA, has recently been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a distinction that recognizes advanced expertise in personal financial planning.

All areas of personal financial planning — including estate planning, retirement planning, investments, and insurance — carry important tax implications. As a CPA/PFS professional, Mrs. Eddings brings the combined value of accounting knowledge, tax insight, ethical standards, and financial planning expertise to help clients make informed decisions.
“Earning the PFS credential demonstrates a commitment to providing clients with thoughtful, comprehensive financial guidance grounded in tax expertise,” said Alison. “Personal financial decisions are often interconnected, and it is important to evaluate them with both planning and tax consequences in mind.”

Their training and experience allow them to evaluate complex financial issues holistically while adhering to the rigorous ethical standards associated with the CPA profession.
Alison M. Eddings, CPA's achievement underscores a continued commitment to delivering high-quality advisory services and helping clients navigate financial decisions with confidence.

Taxpayers are still getting these erroneous notices. If you are confused by a notice you have gotten from the IRS be sure to send it to your tax professional and ask for guidance. It is a known error from the IRS.

Are you comfortable ignoring a notice from the IRS? Even if they tell you to? I'm glad they put this in writing, they started sending out these erroneous notices over a month ago and wouldn't put it in black and white to ignore them. Ugh.
Taxpayers advised they can ignore CP53E notice — after verifying error
The IRS’s sending of about 1.4 million CP53E notices sparked concerns about errors and fraud. A release from the Taxpayer Advocate Service urged taxpayers to verify their accounts directly on IRS.gov.
