My team, Armstrong Associates, helps clients focus on the values and goals that matter most to them and to take action to achieve the targets they’ve set for themselves, their families and their businesses. My objective is to develop genuine relationships with each client in the course of our financial planning work, being present when needed most and celebrating their life achievements.

Being part of Armstrong Associates has given me the opportunity to serve not only our clients, but also the Champaign-Urbana community that has supported our firm for decades. Giving back is something I'm proud to be a part of, and it's a value that's deeply embedded in our culture.

Our commitment to the community takes many forms. I've enjoyed working alongside our team as we've volunteered at the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, supporting their efforts to address hunger throughout the region. We've also been proud supporters of Champaign County CASA for many years, especially during Child Abuse Prevention Month each April.

Another cause that has become especially meaningful to our team is the fight against childhood cancer. This September, we participated in Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's The Million Mile during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It was inspiring to see our team come together to raise awareness, support an important cause, and make a collective impact.

Community involvement is an important part of who we are at Armstrong Associates. Whether we're volunteering, supporting local organizations, or contributing to causes that make a difference, we believe giving back is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen the communities we serve.

I'm grateful to be part of a firm that prioritizes service and equally grateful for the opportunity to support the people and organizations that make Champaign-Urbana such a special place.

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is helping clients gain the clarity and confidence to enjoy what they've worked so hard to build.

Many people come to us with investments, retirement accounts, insurance policies, estate plans, and tax strategies that have accumulated over the years. Each piece serves a purpose, but they aren't always working together as part of a coordinated plan.

That's where our team at Armstrong Associates can help.

With eight team members bringing different backgrounds and perspectives to the table, we work together to help clients connect the dots and create a roadmap for what's next. One area we focus on is retirement distribution planning—helping clients confidently enjoy their wealth while keeping taxes, family goals, charitable giving, and long-term needs in mind.

Some of the most meaningful conversations revolve around questions like: Can I comfortably spend more? How much can I help my family? Can I make a difference now and see the impact during my lifetime?

At the end of the day, financial planning is about so much more than numbers. It's about people, priorities, and making sure your wealth supports the life you want to live.
