Continuing with the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants Month of Service, our Cedar Rapids office volunteered with HACAP.

They packed 450 backpack meals that will go to students across the state. They are designed for the student to have food to eat over the weekend while there is no access to school breakfast or lunch.

Everyone had a great time and were very glad to have the opportunity to work together to give back to the community!

We would like to congratulate our own Michelle Moore. She was recognized as being a newly licensed CPA at the second annual Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants Circle of Excellence event last week. And to make it more special, her son was recognized for obtaining his CPA license as well! They were even able to get consecutive license numbers!

Our Oskaloosa office joined in with the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants Month of Service. They volunteered at the Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa this week. They helped with cleaning and taking time with the animals!

Tuesday we held our 2026 annual firm event at This Old Barn LLC in Fairfield. It was an extremely fun day together combining community service, awards, fellowship and food!

We broke into 3 groups and were able to volunteer at the Fairfield Public Library, help with cleanup and ladybug release for the Fairfield Beautification Commission and write cards to be sent to service members and children in hospitals.

For some afternoon fun we had choices of golf, racquetball or sign making with The Country Mile.
