That's a wrap on our Summer Spotlight Series!

It has been so much fun putting this together, and I'm closing it out by turning the spotlight on myself. I'm usually behind the scenes for this series, so it feels a little different being the one sharing.

I'm Heather Robson, Director of Operations and Brand Experience and the newest member of the team. Since it's officially fall (my favorite season), this seemed like the perfect time to share a little about myself.

A few things about me:

Pumpkin pie is my favorite, and I don't care what time of year it is. Fall also brings out my hidden talent: Halloween costume planning. Every year, I pick a theme for my entire family, whether they like it or not.

My dream vacation is spending two weeks exploring Italy, which works out nicely since pizza is the one food I could eat for the rest of my life.

The best advice I've ever received is simple: Focus on what you can control. It's something I come back to often, both personally and professionally.

Above all, I'm proudest of being a mom to my two daughters and watching them grow into who they are.

Then there's the great hot dog debate. I say a hot dog is absolutely not a sandwich. You won't find it listed under sandwiches on a menu. The votes are in, and somehow the "hot dog is a sandwich" crowd won by one vote. We'll have to agree to disagree!

Thank you to everyone on our team who participated in this series and shared a little about themselves. It's been great getting to know each other better and giving our clients and community a closer look at who we are.

Welcome Heather Robson!

We are excited to announce Heather Robson as our new Director of Operations and Brand Experience! A dedicated, results-driven leader, Heather brings a passion for empowering teams and driving organizational success.

Before joining MFG full-time, she spent 22 years as Chief Technology Officer at Great Lakes Behavioral Research Institute. Behind the scenes, she lent her talents in strategic marketing, working alongside Single Steps Strategies and MFG to help launch both MFG Tax and MFG Insurance in 2025.

A proud graduate of Robert Morris University, Heather earned her BS in Business Administration and Management Information Systems there (though she'll tell you she still thinks of it as "Robert Morris College").

Outside the office, you'll find her planning her family's Halloween costumes, cheering at her daughter's swim meets, or watching her favorite sports team. She lives in Cranberry Township with her husband, Rob, their two daughters, and their dog, Teddy.

Christine Pikutis-Musuneggi, Wealth Management Advisor, is up next in our Employee Summer Spotlight. We know fall is officially here, but we're not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.

Christine's hidden talent is that she has a real knack for geography and directional awareness. Give her a map (or don't) and she'll find her way. If she could pack a bag today, she'd head straight for Croatia to take in the mountains, beaches, and small towns.

A perfect summer weekend for her starts with a yoga class, a walk at Peters Lake, and ends with cooking out and reading on the deck. If she could only eat one food for the rest of her life, it would be Caporelli's Beans and Greens with Salmon.

There's a hot topic around the office: is a hot dog a sandwich? Christine lands firmly on yes. She says it's a handheld meal with bread wrapped around a protein and condiments.

Her favorite piece of advice? Get up, get dressed up, get going.

When asked what she's proud of, she points to the team she's helped build, one that genuinely cares about clients from all walks of life.

This week's Employee Summer Spotlight lands on Danielle Rothburn, our Client Services Associate! We caught up with her to share a few fun facts with everyone.

Ask Danielle about her hidden talents and you'll get two very different answers: rollerskating and roller derby, or fluent Japanese. She's also managed to keep the ZZ plant on her desk thriving for over five years, something she counts among her proudest accomplishments.

On weekends, you'll likely find her hosting friends for a backyard BBQ, then winding down with a movie or some living room karaoke. When it comes to pie, shoofly wins every time, a nod to her PA Dutch roots.

Of course, no spotlight is complete without settling a classic food debate: is a hot dog a sandwich? Danielle's take is a firm no. A hot dog is a hot dog, and a sandwich is a sandwich. They're simply two different things.

This week's Employee Summer Spotlight shines on Kerri Sarsfield, our Senior Client Service Associate! We asked her a few quick questions to help you get to know her better.

Kerri's hidden talents are a bit of everything: she's crazy good at sudoku, fully prepared for the apocalypse, and known for driving Chris crazy at lightning speed. Her favorite way to spend a summer weekend is walking the Strip District with her husband or sitting outside by a fire with the family.

She's most proud of making a big career change after 20+ years and continuing to better herself. When it comes to food, she could eat french fries every day, and lemon meringue is her pie of choice.

Kerri also has a strong take on one important debate: is a hot dog a sandwich? Her answer is no, because it's a hot dog.

Next up in our Employee Summer Spotlight Series is Rod! We asked him a few fun questions to help you get to know him a little better.

Turns out one of Rod's hidden talents is finding things, so if something goes missing, there's a good chance he can track it down. When he's not in the office, he's usually off exploring somewhere new.

What's Rod most proud of? His sons, hands down. When it comes to food, the answer is just as simple: wings are always at the top of the list.

He's also got a strong take on one important debate: a hot dog is, in fact, a sandwich.

Employee Spotlight: Aiden Sarsfield, Client Service Associate.

Time to get to know Aiden a little better. His hidden talent? He speaks Russian, something that surprises just about everyone who meets him. On summer weekends, you'll usually find him out on the golf course or hitting the trails for a hike.

Ask Aiden about food and the answer is instant: enchiladas for life, Dutch apple pie always. As for what he's most proud of, it's simple: his family.

Now for the big question: is a hot dog a sandwich? Aiden says no, since a sandwich has two pieces of bread while a hot dog is just one piece, partially sliced open.
