If I die at 80 and my kids’ inheritance changes their lives, I didn’t do my job as a parent. FULL STOP.

If your life insurance agent and your financial advisor are the same person, you may have a great salesperson instead of a true financial advisor.

When someone gets paid to sell products, it's fair to ask whether the recommendation is for your benefit or theirs.

Advice should be paid for. Products should be optional.

Ask one question: "How do you get paid?"
