One of the highlights of the event was supporting an organization whose mission goes far beyond competition.

The Hope Chest program empowers breast cancer survivors to “Paddle with a Purpose, Workout Like a Woman, and Empower Yourself.” Through dragon boat paddling, fitness, and community support, they help survivors at every stage of treatment and recovery lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

I was honored to sponsor the Intrepid Athletics team and spend the day handing out water bottles with electrolytes to participants and supporters. Seeing the strength, resilience, and camaraderie on display was truly inspiring.

Of course, I couldn’t have done it alone. My daughter joined me as my official hydration specialist and community outreach coordinator. She took her role very seriously—although she’s already questioning her current compensation package. 😊

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a bottle, and shared a conversation. Community events like this are a reminder that when local organizations, small businesses, and dedicated volunteers come together, amazing things happen.
