Go, Harper!! Woo hoo!! 🤩👑

Ever wonder why you see a massive fire truck or ambulance parked at the grocery store? It’s a question we get a lot, and the answer is pretty simple: we never truly go "off the clock."
Firefighters and EMTs work long, 24-hour shifts. During that time, the station is our home, which means we have to shop for our meals just like everyone else. However, we stay "in service" every second we’re out. We take the trucks to the store because if a 911 call drops while we’re picking up dinner, we have to respond instantly. We can’t be separated from our equipment or our team!
But here is the best part: please come say hi!
We aren't just here for emergencies; we’re here for the community. If you see us in the aisles or the parking lot:
• 👋 Wave hello.
• 🚒 Ask for a tour. If we aren't rushing to a call, we absolutely love showing the kids (and the kids-at-heart) the trucks and the gear.
• 📸 Snap a photo. We’re always happy to meet the neighbors we serve.
We’re proud to be part of this community. Next time you see the big red truck at the market, don't be a stranger, come meet the crew!

For everyone who has been asking, we are fortunate that Grace was home for a quick visit at the time of the Brown University shooting. Thank you all so much for reaching out - it really means a lot ❤️

Our kids have been busy! Heather’s daughter, Harper, won three local titles and then the state title of Miss Maine Jr. Pr***en, moving on to Nationals in 2026! Diane’s son, Andrew, graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in August. And Megan’s daughter, Alexa, was married in September! Congratulations to all!

We did it! Thank you to everyone who donated items and money to this great organization. It looks like Leclerc Group was the top fundraiser! And yes, Chris followed the rules and wore his underwear on the outside of his clothes 😁

We are walking / running in the rain tomorrow! Any donations towards our fundraising goal would mean a lot. We are also collecting items like personal hygiene products, sunscreen, etc. at our office in Brunswick to donate to this great organization. Thank you for considering!
