🚨 5 DAYS LEFT! TAX EXTENSION DEADLINE! ⏰👀

Y’all, October 15th is right around the corner, and if you filed an extension for your 2025 tax return but STILL haven’t filed, it’s time to get moving! 😩

📅 Thursday, October 15, 2026

Now remember, an extension gave you extra time to FILE your return, not extra time to PAY your taxes!

And listen, waiting until the last minute to gather documents, track down expenses, and figure out your numbers is NOT the kind of stress we need! 😂

💡 Here’s what you need to do:

✅ Gather your tax documents.

✅ Make sure your income and expenses are accounted for.

✅ Review your information for accuracy.

✅ Get your return filed before the deadline!

💙 NEED HELP?

NMW Financial Group is here to help you navigate the process and get your taxes handled with confidence!

📩 Send us a DM with the word “EXTENSION” to inquire about tax preparation assistance. Availability is limited this close to the deadline.

And for my business owners… let’s not carry this same last minute stress into next tax season! 😉

🚨 BUSINESS OWNERS! Let me tell y’all something about these receipts! 👀🧾

Just because you entered an expense on your Excel spreadsheet does NOT automatically make it a tax deduction!

I love a good spreadsheet, but baby, where is the paperwork to back those numbers up? 😂

Receipts, invoices, payment records and other supporting documentation MATTER!

When you’re claiming business expenses, purchasing equipment or reporting deductions on your tax return, you need records that support what you’re reporting.

And if your tax professional keeps asking you for documentation, we’re not trying to give you a hard time. We’re trying to make sure your return is accurate and properly supported.

Because if the IRS comes asking questions, that spreadsheet alone may not tell the whole story!

Remember, tracking your expenses is one thing. Being able to substantiate them is another! 💯

Now be honest with me, business owners! 👇🏾

Are your receipts organized throughout the year, or are you scrambling to find everything when tax time rolls around? 😂

👀 BUSINESS OWNERS, LET'S TALK! 😂

Finish this sentence…

💬 “The part of running a business nobody prepared me for was __________.”

Because listen… everybody talks about being your own boss, making money, and having freedom.

But NOBODY talks enough about everything that comes with it! 😩😂

The lessons, the late nights, the unexpected expenses, and wearing 10 different hats!

I already know these answers are about to be GOOD! 😂🍿

👇🏾 Drop yours in the comments! And don't forget to read what everybody else says because I guarantee somebody is going to make you say, “WHEW! I thought it was just ME!” 🤣

👀 Having an LLC does NOT automatically mean you’re an S Corp!

An LLC is a legal business structure. S Corp refers to a federal tax classification that eligible businesses may elect.

And choosing how your business is taxed? That’s a decision that should be based on YOUR numbers, not what everybody else is doing. 💙

Save this Reel because we’re making business taxes make sense!

10/07/2026

📈 As your business grows, the tax questions you should be asking can change too. The structure that worked when you started may be worth reviewing as the business evolves. That does NOT mean an S Corp is right for everyone.

👇🏾 When did you last review your tax structure?

Money coming into your business is a GOOD thing. 💰 But if you can’t tell where it went, that’s where the problem starts. 👀

Your bank balance doesn’t tell the whole story.

You should know what came in, what went out & what your business actually made after expenses.

This week we’re getting into the NUMBERS because tax season is NOT the time to start wondering where all the money went. 😂💙

10/02/2026

Business owners, I have ONE question for you...

Do you actually know your numbers? 👀
And I don't mean, “I checked my bank account this morning and there's money in there.” 😂

I'm talking about:

💰 How much revenue has your business brought in this year?

🧾 How much have you spent?

📊 What is your actual profit?

💵 Have you been setting money aside for taxes?

📚 Are your records caught up?

And if you couldn't answer all of those questions, don't panic and definitely don't be embarrassed.

That's exactly what we're talking about this month.

October is officially Know Your Numbers Month around here. 💙

We're talking bookkeeping, business finances, tax preparation vs. tax planning, questions you should be asking before year end and how to figure out what kind of help you actually need.

Whether you're doing it yourself or you need somebody to help you make sense of it, we're starting with one thing:

KNOW YOUR NUMBERS.

Follow along because we're getting into it ALL month. 👀

Last day of April…

And while everybody is closing out the month…

A lot of people are still:
✔ Not filed
✔ Sitting on extensions
✔ Or unsure if their return was even done right

Let me be real with you…

Just because the deadline passed doesn’t mean it’s over.

Right now is when:
👉 Late filers are getting handled
👉 Extensions are being completed
👉 Mistakes are being fixed

And the longer you wait…

The more stressful it becomes.

Don’t carry tax problems into May.

If you still need to file, amend, or get your situation reviewed…

Message me ‘MAY’ and let’s get it taken care of the right way.
