Her advice to women early in their careers?

“Don’t assume you’ll automatically get what you deserve; advocate for yourself and ask for it.”

Her advice to women starting out: speak up sooner, ask the question, and don’t wait until you feel ready; confidence comes with action.

An early-career experience working past 1 a.m. during a routine deadline shaped her leadership philosophy. It wasn’t the workload, but the lack of planning and people management that stayed with her.
