I met Dikembe at the UN General Assembly in New York. Despite his towering presence, he was incredibly humble and kind. When I awkwardly suggested a selfie, we laughed as I only managed to capture half of his face. A stranger offered to take a proper picture, and we shared a moment of genuine joy. That brief encounter showed me Dikembe’s warmth and humanity—qualities that made him unforgettable.

The filing deadline to submit 2022 tax returns or an extension to file and pay tax owed is Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Taxpayers requesting an extension will have until Monday, October 16, 2023, to file.
3. Most income is taxable, including unemployment income, interest received, or money earned from the gig economy or digital assets.
4. Speed refunds by filing electronically and choosing direct deposit.
5. Most refunds are issued in less than 21 days; EITC refunds for many are available starting February 28, 2023. Taxpayers should check Where's My Refund? on IRS.gov for their personalized refund status.
