2024 Tax Return folders and hot pink is the envelope color for this year! Always living life in color - even with dreaded taxes! I’m reserving a few days in February and March for appointments - message me if you’d like to set something up!

Tax Tip #2 -- It's not too late to make last minute year end itemized deductions. As long as they are paid by December 31st. These can be checks written and postmarked 12/31, or paid online with a credit/debit card or ACH transfer by 12/31. But keep in mind that the standard deduction amounts for 2023 are high, and most folks (not all) will use that instead of any itemized deductions. If you have specific questions about these, please send me a message!

Tax Tip #1 - Actually this is a life tip! If you are a W2 employee and you no longer review (or have never reviewed) your pay advice or paystub as it used to be called - do it now! Make sure that you notice the amounts of tax you are paying - federal, state, social security, Medicare, and in some places even local and county tax! Also check any deductions for benefits such as health insurance. I would recommend looking every time you get paid unless the amount doesn’t change. At the very least, make sure you look at the first one in January when the tax tables change and benefits may change as well!
