Jamie joined the Profitability Squared team in 2025 after relocating to Alabama. She brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, along with a strong background in organization, client support, and financial administration. Jamie also holds an Associate’s degree in Pharmacy Science, which reflects her dedication to learning and attention to detail.

At Profitability Squared, Jamie assists with various accounting functions, including sales tax filings, client support, and other financial processes that help keep businesses organized and compliant. She enjoys helping business owners stay focused on growing their companies while knowing their financial responsibilities are being handled with care.

Jamie is proud to be part of the Profitability Squared team and values the opportunity to support both the company and its clients.

Jamie’s favorite things include a good crisp Dr. Pepper, watching reality tv, and cooking and baking yummy foods for her loved ones 💚

Meet our payroll specialist, Deana Hines!

Deana is a graduate of the University of North Alabama (2020) with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. After graduating from college, she moved back to the Birmingham area to be closer to her family. Deana’s background includes customer service, working with all different backgrounds, and connecting with various resources and agencies. Deana originally joined the Profitability Squared team back in 2021 after graduating college, but left to pursue her work with Foster Children. She has since joined our office again and is proud to be processing payroll for our clients here at Profitability Squared.

If you can’t find Deana at work, she’s probably spending time with her husband Triston, and two boys Elijah and Hudson. If not with them, she’s probably watching trash tv with her mother in law or reading a good book 🤪

Meet our CAO/Senior Accountant, Jennie Boswell!

Jennie is a graduate of Baker College (Owosso, MI) where she received a Bachelors of Business Administration with Concentration in Accounting (2013) and a Masters of Business Administration (2015). She grew up in Shelby County, Alabama where she graduated from Shelby County High School. While pursuing her degrees, Jennie began her 7.5-year degree in the banking industry.

Jennie began her banking career as a teller and quickly promoted to CSR, Community Advocate, Prepaid Visa Card Administrator, and Commercial Loan Assistant. In 2014 she left the banking industry to pursue a career with Shelby County Schools as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. After relocating to Northwest Alabama in 2016, Jennie began to pursue other interests and passions. There she spent 3 years volunteering her time as a Firefighter/First Responder and Fire Department Chaplain while working full-time and raising her children. During this time, Jennie acquired extensive payroll and human resources knowledge as she became the Payroll Coordinator at TRU-Lynn (a Clayton Homes company). She managed and completed all payroll and human resources duties for approximately 280 employees.

In 2021, Jennie moved back to her hometown and began working for Profitability Squared. She brings the aforementioned skills and knowledge as well as knowledge in sales tax, accounting, tax preparation and problem resolution. Because of Jennie’s belief that continuing education is imperative to ensure the most accurate services provided to the clients of Profitability Squared Inc, she continues to study accounting principles and tax laws.

In her not so busy time during tax season, Jennie enjoys spending time with her 3 kids, family, friends, and her new puppy, Phoebe Snickerpoodle 🐾

Meet our CEO/ Staff Accountant, Haley Finlay Hammond!

Haley Finlay Hammond serves as the CEO and Staff Accountant of Profitability Squared, Inc. With years of experience managing the company, she specializes in Payroll, Sales Tax, Entity Setups, and Income Tax. She also manages the general operations of our office and employees. Haley and Jennie work together to ensure efficiency, order, and accuracy in all aspects of the office's work. Trust Haley and her team to handle your financial needs with expertise and care.
