People don’t quit jobs they quit managers. ⁣ ⁣ As leaders we have a responsibility to evolve in our skillsets and character. ⁣ ⁣ The way we show up for ourselves and the downstream effect that has on the people we support. ⁣ ⁣ Companies have a responsibility to provide support and training. ⁣ ⁣ Most don’t. ⁣ ⁣ Which is unfortunate for too many reasons to list. ⁣ ⁣ Nonetheless, as with everything in life we can either be victims of circumstance or take responsibility.⁣ ⁣ If you are a manager or in a leadership role, be the anomaly.⁣ ⁣ Be the person who leads with an open heart and curiosity.⁣ ⁣ Be convicted in your values and character.⁣ ⁣ Be the outlier in a society where people are used to tolerating less. ⁣ ⁣ Even if you are never publicly rewarded for it — because it’s the right thing to do. ⁣ ⁣ Cheers. 🥂
