Some exciting news I’m grateful to share: I’ve been appointed District Director of Northwestern Mutual Birmingham.
Since joining Northwestern Mutual in 2021, I’ve had two goals that have consistently shaped the way I’ve approached this career: build a great financial planning practice and use my gifts and talents to help others realize their full potential in this business.
Becoming District Director is the next step in that journey, and it’s something I’ve been working toward since day one.
I’m especially grateful to Chrys Kanos for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Chrys was my first Managing Director when I entered the business, and now, as my Managing Partner, I have the privilege of working alongside him to build something special across Alabama. He is a leader who is easy to follow, provides clear vision, and challenges those around him to become better. I’m grateful for the investment he has made in me and excited about what we can build together.
I’m also incredibly thankful for Jay Dixon, who became my Managing Director when I moved to Birmingham in 2023. Jay showed me what it looks like to pursue excellence in business while being a great husband, father, and man of faith. Watching him balance those responsibilities well has had a lasting impact on the kind of leader I want to be.
To my clients, this new role does not change my commitment to you. I’ll continue to serve you and your families with the same level of care, planning, and intentionality that I always have. I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me and look forward to continuing to walk alongside you.
Now, I get the opportunity to help more people build careers of significance while serving families and businesses throughout Birmingham and across the Southeast.
One of my first priorities is finding 10 outstanding individuals to join our firm in 2027. We're looking for people who are driven, coachable, committed to personal growth, and genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of others. If someone comes to mind, I’d love to connect with them.
My faith continues to remind me that leadership is ultimately about stewardship. I’m grateful for the opportunity, excited about what’s ahead, and ready to get to work.
