72. 📈 That's how many S&P 500 companies raised their earnings outlook for Q3 2026 👍🏻The 5-year average is 42.

But here's the catch 👀 Market breadth has been weak. Only about 40% of S&P 500 stocks are trading above their 200-day average, and a small group of large names has been carrying the index.

Our hope: a strong earnings season gives more companies a reason to participate, and leadership starts to spread out. 🤞

Worth watching. Worth keeping in perspective. ⚖️

📉 Jobs: 29K vs 84K expected. 📈 Stocks: "great, rate hikes off the table." Bad news is good news again, famous last words. 🤔

10-yr touched 5.33% (highest since 2002), then backed off to ~5.18%. Fed hike odds for October collapsed from ~70% to ~15-20%. 🏦

Nvidia just tagged a record and a $5.7T cap 🚀 while the Dow lost 1.3% on the week. Narrow leadership is still leadership… until it isn't. 🛢️ Oil ~$90 doesn't help the inflation story either.

🚨 Jobs whiff 📉 September payrolls came in at just +29K vs. +89K expected 😬

Unemployment ticked up to 4.2% (vs. 4.1% est.) 🔺 and August got revised down by 29K ✂️ That's the third weakest jobs report of 2026 💼
But in today's market, bad news is good news 🙃 Softer labor = less pressure on the Fed to hike 🏦 Wall Street will take it 📈
