So grateful to spend a week being reminded of why we do what we do. Our 3rd family vacation to Montana, the first with 3 kids under 3. It was a different experience this go round, but so happy to create these core memories with the people who matter most.

You’re statistically more likely to be out of work for 3+ months before 65 than to die before 65. Most people insure the second one and ignore the first.
Had a client out of work for 7 months last year. Same house, same bills, same life because the paycheck kept showing up even though he couldn’t.
Have you ever actually checked what happens to your income if you couldn’t work for 6 months?
Comment PAYCHECK and I’ll send you how to find out.

First time fly fishing, done right! Big Hole River with my brother-in-law, guided by Big Hole Lodge. Montana delivered, as always. 🎣

Nobody has ever regretted being boring with money for 10 years.
I watch people chase the exciting decision, the hot stock, the timing call, the “get in now”, then skip the boring one that actually works: consistency, time, and not touching it.
The wealthiest clients I have aren’t the ones who picked winners. They’re the ones who never panicked.
What’s the “boring” money decision you’ve been putting off?
Drop it below, curious what people are avoiding.

Everyone plans for retirement. Almost nobody plans for Tuesday.
A client’s wife called me eight months after he passed — just to say thank you. Not because anything got easier.
Because the mortgage didn’t change, the kids stayed in the same school, and she got to grieve instead of panic.
That’s the actual job. Not the money. The choice to grieve instead of scramble.
If you’ve never run the “what happens Tuesday” math for your own family.
Comment TUESDAY and I’ll walk you through it.
No pitch, 15 minutes.

One more preseason tune-up before the games start counting. Consistency compounds, whether it's on the field or in life.
Looking forward to what this Saints team can do this year. ⚜️

Most people focus on setting bigger goals.
Few people focus on building better systems.
Goals are important because they give you direction.
Systems are what determine the result.
The gym you go to consistently. The budget you review every month. The emergency fund you build before you need it. The protection plan that keeps your family secure when life doesn't go as planned.
Your future is shaped more by what you do repeatedly than by what you hope will happen.
What's one system that's improved your life over the last year?

The way we begin often determines how far we go.
Start with determination.
