Congrats to all my fellow tax accountants and tax preparers for surviving the final tax deadline! May your coffee be strong, your inbox be quiet, and nobody ask you a single tax question for at least 72 hours. 😂 ps. I’m officially on vacation after today.. and no I still don’t do taxes, hats off to those that do! See you all again on Monday!

The Basehor Chamber of Commerce Gala is coming up, and I’d love your help by nominating me or Prairie Ledger Bookkeeping for an award you feel best represents us! Your nominations and personal testimonies would help introduce me and my business to more of our community and build trust through the people who know us best. We’re just a few days away from the end of September and the start of Q4! 🥹💚

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me through my first year in business. The clients, referrals, recommendations, and new faces I’ve met along the way have made this year so rewarding. I truly wouldn’t be here without you!

As we head into Q4, I’m starting to get my clients ready for year-end closing and tax season. If you’ve been thinking about getting your books caught up or switching bookkeepers, now is a great time to get on my books. I’ll be accepting new clients through November 30th, then I’ll pause onboarding while we get through year-end and our first tax season together.

And starting January 1st, I’ll also be partnering with a local tax firm to prepare individual tax returns! (Business returns won’t be offered at this time.)

Thank you again for an amazing first year. I’m so excited to see what year two brings! 🥰🌾

We’re almost to the final quarter of 2026. Let’s finish the year strong.

Q4 is the perfect time to get your books and records in order before tax season arrives.

• Reconcile bank, credit card and loan accounts
• Review financial reports and unusual transactions
• Clean up uncategorized transactions
• Collect outstanding invoices
• Review accounts payable
• Organize receipts and expense documentation
• Review payroll and vendor information
• Gather W-9s and prepare for 1099s
• Review fixed assets, inventory and business mileage

Today was one of those back-to-back meeting, run errands, work wherever I can fit it in kind of days. So, naturally, the laptop came with me.

I’m a one-woman show right now, and that means sometimes I’m working from my car, working late, or working around nap schedules. Being a mom and building a business isn’t always picture-perfect—but it’s my dream, and my family is building it together.

One day, I hope to have a whole team beside me. But for now, I’m proud to be the person behind the spreadsheets, the reconciliations, the reports, and the late nights making sure my clients have the financial support they need.

Your business is your dream. Let me help you build it with confidence. 🌾
