Great Interest Rate for basically the equivalent of a 90 Day CD. I say equivalent because to obtain the $300 Bonus / Rebate, the $20K plus has to stay there 90 or more days.

$20,000 times 4% divided by 90 days equals approximately $200 Interest Income plus $300 Bonus Equals $500 for 90 days which equals an approximately 10% Interest Rate.

Where else can you legally earn an approximate
10% interest for 90 days at a FDIC Insured Bank ???

Legal disclaimer. LOL.
These are approximate amounts.
10% Interest Rate is based on $20K for 90 days.

If you deposit more, then the interest rate would be lower because the Bonus / Rebate is capped at $300.

For example, if you deposited $50K.
Then $50,000 times 4% divided by 90 days equals approximately $500 Interest Income plus $300 Bonus Equals $800 for 90 days which equals an approximately 6.4% Interest Rate, which is still awesome interest rate. Better than any 90 Day CD.

Live Oak Bankโ€™s headquarters is 1757 Tiburon Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Banking Model: It is a digital-first, FDIC-insured bank with no traditional retail branch network.Service Area.

They serve small business owners and personal banking customers digitally across all 50 states.

Personal note.
I did this same promo last spring and just kept my savings account, today it earns 4%, as my main savings account.
For over a year and a half, it has been a great experience and I recommend them.
Everything is done online and transfers are done within one business day.
I have called them a couple of times and I thought it was great customer service.

Great news: our personal high-yield savings account just got a rate increase. ๐Ÿ“ˆ
That means your money earns more, without you having to do anything differently. And right now, you can also earn a $300 cash bonus* when you complete a few qualifying actions. ๐Ÿ’ธ

Whether you're building an emergency fund, saving toward a goal, or just want your cash working harder, now's a good time to take a look.

A few times a year I receive emails and letters from H&R Block, an Arlington, TX Firm, and a couple of others wanting to buy my CPA Firm like I received in today's mail box.

They claim based on authorized IRS E-Filersโ€™ Addresses, specifically Zip Codes, I am the #4 E-Filer of IRS Tax Returns in the Greater Area of Bartlett / Arlington / Lakeland / 38133 (my home and office zip code) / 38134 / 38135 / 38002. A couple of years ago, one provided a web site showing this info that I thought was fairly close to my numbers and what I would think others numbers might be.

#1) H&R Block with a couple of locations / offices near my office

#2) A good-size and long-established (I think since the 70s) Bartlett CPA Firm with multiple CPAs and a good reputation near my office (I do not have their permission to use their name)

#3) A company like H&R Block I really do not know anything about other than their name and address near my office (I do not have their permission to use their name)

#4) My CPA Firm with a Great and Wonderful Team. I am the only CPA and I have been looking for another CPA / EA ever since Summer of 2021 when I moved my CPA firm from my home office to our current offices.

#5) Then there is a gap to #5.

In January 2018, when I went out on my own, I wanted to operate a CPA Firm "My Way" based on what my Dad, Mom, a few great bosses / mentors, and a couple of bad examples / bosses taught me about businesses and life-in-general. Also using the Good and Bad of the 3 CPA Firms, 1 Law Firm, the 4th/5th largest Real Estate Company in the Nation, and other jobs / places that I had worked during my career.

I always intended to do accurate, first class, honest, quality, and thorough work that honors and is pleasing to God, my Dad in Heaven, my Mom in Heaven, and others. But I never ever intended to do it in a quantity / volume that catches the attention of H&R Block and other National Folks.

Funny part is that H&R Block could not handle 3/4s plus of the tax returns that I have prepared and will prepare going foward.

After 37 Tax Seasons,
I have developed a few Tax Specialties of:
Business Owners and their Businesses of all different types,
Estates and Trusts,
Military Folks,
Ministry Folks,
Non-Profit Organizations,
Real Estate Investors and their Real Estate Investments,
Stock Market Investors and their Investments,
and other folks with niches
that H&R Block is not educated, equipped, experienced, and/or trained to handle.

I am always asking myself:
What would God do?,
What would Jesus do?,
What would my Dad do?,
What would my Mom do?,
What would my Pastors do?,
What would Joe K. do?,
What would Jim L. do?,
What would a few other great bosses / mentors would do?,
and
What is the complete opposite of what a few bad bosses would do?

I am truly blessed way more than I deserve.

God is Good All of the Time.

All of the Time God is Good.

Hierarchy of taking care of your Business's Books

1) Top Level - CPAs (Certified Public Accountants)

2) Next Level - Accountants (they have the necessary college accounting education but without any requirements of experience, insurance, licenses, oversight, training, etc.)

3) Last Level - Bookkeepers and Others (without any requirements of formal accounting and bookkeeping education, experience, insurance, licenses, oversight, training, etc.)

Please make sure whoever is taking care of your Businessโ€™s Books is a Licensed CPA, or at a minimum an Accountant,
AND with the Experience to fully take care of your Businessโ€™s Books, Accounting and Bookkeeping needs.

Way too many times I have seen a Businessโ€™s horrible and messy Books costs them thousands and thousands or more in additional taxes and lots of additional fees to a Licensed CPA to correct and clean them up.
