If you haven't heard of the Christine B. Foundation, I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more about their mission and the difference they're making. We're fortunate to have organizations like this serving our community.

Their mission is to support those facing cancer by extending access to healthy food, nutritional information, and community connections essential to their strength and comfort. The Christine B. Foundation and the executive director, Matt Dexter, have touched the lives of so many individuals and families facing cancer. They are truly inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who volunteers, donates, and supports their work. It makes a lasting difference.

I see this care from Heidi consistently and if it is my loved in the bed we could be so lucky to have Heidi as her nurse.”

Open for 2026 Nominations🌟 3rd Annual 'Stethoscopes That Shine' Award:

This initiative honors the bright, dedicated, and inspiring future nurses of Maine, and we need your help to recognize them.

✔️Who can be nominated?
We invite registered healthcare professionals to nominate a STUDENT NURSE who is currently residing and attending school in Maine and stands out for their commitment, passion, and drive in the healthcare field.

✔️What’s the reward?
A state of the art Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope will be gifted to 3 outstanding students pursuing nursing in Maine. These exceptional students will be nominated by current healthcare professionals who see them shining bright in their efforts to learn and care for others.

✔️How to Submit a Nomination:
Simply email [email protected] with the following details:
• Nominator’s name, professional title (RN, NP, DO, etc.), and contact information.
• Nominee’s name, their college/nursing program affiliation, and contact information.
• A statement describing how this nominee is making a positive impact on Maine healthcare.

✔️Deadline for Nominations:
All eligible nominations must be submitted via email by March 1, 2026.

✔️Winner Announcement:
Three winners will be contacted and announced by May 1st, 2026.

We’re honored once again to support the incredible teachers of Hampden, Maine. This year we had the privilege of equipping the 1st grade team at Earl C McGraw School with updated furniture and classroom essentials to help create organized, functional, and fun spaces for their students to learn and grow.

Our boys were big helpers. They loved meeting some of their future teachers and bringing in boxes of items!

We’re also excited to share a sneak peek of a new addition to the office — a privacy wall that will be accented with key values and elements that define Warren Financial. From guidance and trust to long-term relationships and our community, this will be a visual reminder of what matters most❕

Samuel Myers – Eastern Maine Community College

Sam was nominated by his professor Lori Rowley, MSN, RN, who shared that Sam is a standout student known not only for his outstanding GPA, but also for the compassion, warmth, and kindness he brings to every interaction.

Sam also has an amazing passion for emergency medicine—he aspires to join Life Flight as a Nurse and is already making an impact by teaching CPR to adults and high school students. His commitment to equipping others with life-saving skills is nothing short of inspiring. 🫀🚁

Sam is honest, hardworking, and consistently lifts up those around him. With his eagerness to learn, drive to serve, and unwavering professionalism, there’s no doubt Sam is on the path to becoming an exceptional nurse.

🌟 Stethoscopes That Shine Winner Spotlight 🌟

Christine Cooke – Eastern Maine Community College

Christine was nominated by her clinical instructor, Amanda McNeil, MSN, RN, SANE-A who witnessed firsthand the compassion and excellence Christine brings to nursing.

Amanda shared, “There was one moment that stood out, it was during Christine's first clinical rotation. Christine demonstrated exceptional empathy and attentiveness by engaging with a dementia patient who was frustrated and disoriented. She provided care beyond expectations, feeding her, styling her hair, and painting her nails, creating a moment of dignity and connection. It was a poignant reminder of the profound impact compassionate nursing can have.”

🎉 🩺 The first recipient of our 2nd Annual, Stethoscopes That Shine Award! ⭐️

Max Creaser - University of Maine School of Nursing

Max was nominated by Nurse Educator Annie Smith RN, MSN, PMH-BC, CNE who shared that “Max is passionate about critical care and cardiac nursing and is completing his 200-hour senior partnership experience in the CCU at Maine Medical Center. Max makes a tremendous contribution to Maine healthcare by serving as a mentor, teaching assistant, and tutor for peers at lower levels of our program. He is an invaluable resource for students who are struggling with content and need 1:1 guidance! Max can convey information clearly without intimidating learners. Countless undergraduate students depend on him each week for guidance which directly impacts their success in our program. These skills will translate easily to the clinical setting where he will benefit the nursing students assigned to his unit. I believe Max will be an amazing preceptor and hopefully a clinical instructor when he has accumulated the appropriate beside experience. Nursing school is challenging without additional responsibilities, and we are grateful that Max has chosen to use his minimal free time to give back to others!”
