s. Miller & Associates, Chartered was formed as a sole proprietorship in 1976 with its office in Towson, Maryland. The firm was incorporated in 1980 and in 1984 moved to its present location in downtown Baltimore. The firm is a boutique specializing in sophisticated auditing, accounting, business consulting and tax services for clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and throughout the United States. We pride ourselves in our creativity and our ability to provide proactive advice. Our goal is to identify our clients' needs before they do. Miller & Associates, Chartered is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Peer Review Program. The firm voluntarily undergoes a stringent review of its accounting and auditing practices by another CPA firm every three years. This peer review process assures our clients of consistent, quality service. In our most recent review in November 2010, we received a rating of pass. Firms can either receive a rating of pass, pass with deficiencies, or fail. Our next peer review is scheduled for November 2013. The firm's philosophy and culture is such that our clients do not experience a high turnover of the personnel assigned. The firm will not be merged or sold. In short, our clients have a team that will grow with them and be there for them.
