Because of the storm, the CHOP Parkway Run/Walk for pediatric cancer research and family support was cancelled 😞 But, I promised everyone on my social media a 5k for charity without walking after dusting off my couch-to-5k program.

So, I turned it into a "Neighborhood Nor'easter 5k"! In case you were wondering, no speed records were in jeopardy 😆

Thank you all so much for your donations! I have friends & family who have lost children or grandchildren to childhood cancer. So, a little rain wasn't going to stop my run. And, they were definitely in my thoughts on Sunday morning.

Our team is proud to have raised ~$30,000 for a great cause and we couldn't be more appreciative of the support!

Every year, our team comes together to support the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Parkway Run & Walk event and the incredible work being done in pediatric cancer research and care.

Starting firmly from the couch, I'm on a couch-to-5k program to run this event :-) This year's event takes place on Sunday, September 27, and I'd love and appreciate any support to my fundraising efforts for our team.
