A new deduction under the One, Big, Beautiful Bill allows eligible gig economy workers to deduct up to $25,000 in qualified tips from their taxable income for tax years 2025 through 2028. To qualify, tips must be properly reported on Forms 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, or 1099-K.
