So proud of our Auburn University PCAOB Scholar, Katie Ford! 👏🏻

We’re proud to celebrate Southern Union alumna Katie Ford, who was recently named an Auburn University PCAOB Scholar!

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Scholars Program is a nomination-based scholarship designed to support students pursuing careers in accounting. For Katie, receiving the scholarship represents both financial support and meaningful recognition of her hard work and dedication.

Reflecting on her time at Southern Union, Katie shared:

“I loved my time at Southern Union and truly feel I would not be where I am today without starting my college career there. Ms. Serviss also helped me obtain my part-time job at a local accounting firm where I have been for over a year now and hope to stay for a while, so I am forever grateful for her!”

She added, “Being named a PCAOB Scholar feels like confirmation that my hard work is paying off and that I am on the right path.”

Congratulations, Katie! We’re proud to see our Bison continue to achieve great things and grateful to have played a part in your journey. Go Bison Forever!
