Dear Business Owners, Starting back on January 1, 2024, many companies, including LLCs and Corporations, are required to file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOl) Report with details on who owns and controls their businesses.

This report will be filed with FinCEN, part of the U.S.
Department of Treasury.
🚨
• If your company was created or registered before January 1, 2024, you have until January 1, 2025 to file.
• If your company is registered between January 1, 2024, and January 1, 2025, you will have 90 days to file.
So yes, if you have an LLC, you are required to
file! Penalties for not filing start at $500 per day or up to two years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
