Advice, Financial Planning & Wealth Management to address your wealth and invest with confidence.

Many women spend years preparing for retirement. However, few anticipate just how much caregiving may shape the journey.

Whether you're helping an aging parent, supporting a spouse, caring for a loved one with health challenges, or even stepping in to help with grandchildren, caregiving often comes with unexpected financial trade-offs.

You may find yourself:

- Adjusting your work schedule or retiring earlier than planned
- Covering out-of-pocket expenses for care
- Delaying personal goals or travel
- Making financial decisions while carrying an emotional load

The reality is this:

Caregiving isn't simply a family responsibility. It's also a financial planning consideration.

The good news? Planning ahead can help create greater flexibility when life asks more of you.

A thoughtful financial strategy can help you evaluate potential caregiving costs, understand how they may impact your retirement income, and make decisions that align with both your finances and your family's needs.

If caregiving is already part of your story - or you know it may be in the years ahead - it may be time to revisit your financial strategy.

The biggest risk to your retirement might not be the market. It might be your health.

Most retirement conversations focus on investment performance — growth, returns, market timing.

Almost none of them focus on long-term care.

But for many families, it becomes one of the largest expenses they'll ever face. And unlike most retirement costs, it rarely arrives on schedule. It shows up as a phone call, a diagnosis, a decision that has to be made in a matter of days.

This isn't really a conversation about insurance.

It's a conversation about protecting the wealth you've spent decades building.

A thoughtful financial plan doesn't stop at investments. It also asks:

How would I pay for long-term care if I ever needed it?
What impact could those costs have on my retirement income?
How do I make sure my family isn't forced into hard financial decisions during an already emotional time?

Planning ahead won't predict the future.

But it can make sure you're not caught unprepared for it.

If long-term care hasn't been part of your financial plan yet, that's worth a conversation — before it becomes an emergency instead of a plan.

You worked hard to build your retirement savings. But have you thought about how much of it you'll actually get to keep after taxes?

A Roth conversion is one of the most underused strategies in retirement planning — and it's worth understanding before your tax situation changes.

By strategically moving money from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, you pay taxes today with the goal of creating more tax flexibility later.

Why consider it?

Qualified Roth withdrawals are tax-free

Roth IRAs have no lifetime RMDs for the original owner

Conversions can reduce the amount of pretax money subject to future taxes

Having both taxable and tax-free accounts gives you more flexibility when creating retirement income

But timing matters. The years between retirement and RMD age — or any lower-income year — can create an especially valuable planning window. Get it wrong, and a conversion could push you into a higher bracket instead of saving you money.

That's why the real question isn't "Should I do a Roth conversion?" It's "When should I convert, and how much?"

We don't hand out generic answers on this one. We look at your bracket, your timeline, and your full financial picture before recommending a strategy.

The right answer depends entirely on your numbers. And knowing when to act can matter just as much as knowing what to do.

Volatility may be uncomfortable, but it isn't uncommon.

One of the questions I hear most during periods of market volatility is:

"Is this normal?"

The answer may be reassuring.

Market corrections and periods of volatility are a normal part of investing.

Markets have always experienced temporary pullbacks, even during some of the strongest long-term periods of growth.

While those declines can feel unsettling in the moment, history reminds us that volatility doesn't necessarily mean something is broken. It's simply one of the realities of long-term investing.

That's why having a strategic financial plan matters.

A well-designed strategy isn't built on the expectation that markets will only move up. It's built with the understanding that there will be periods of uncertainty along the way.

When your plan is aligned with your goals, you can spend less time reacting to every market swing and more time focused on what really matters - building the life you've worked so hard to create.

Our Gather & Grow event was everything I hoped it would be — good company, great w**e, and conversations that matter.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, and our guest speaker, Stephanie Vinat of CNL Securities. Her presentation was an opportunity for attendees to learn more about alternatives and private equity as part of a diversified portfolio strategy.

We were also delighted by surprise visitors Ingrid Best of IBEST WINES, and Sarah Pierre, owner of 3 Parks W**e Shop. Ingrid shared her story with the group and her love of South African w**es. The event was an opportunity for the attendees to sample w**es, learn, and make connections.

Thank you for being part of an unforgettable evening. We hope you will join us at a future event.

What do 2008, 2020, and 2022 all have in common?

They reminded us that financial uncertainty doesn't always look the same.

✔️ One tested patience.
✔️ One tested emotions.
✔️ One tested purchasing power.

But each revealed an important lesson: a successful financial plan isn't built for perfect conditions. It's built to help you navigate the unexpected.

For many women approaching retirement—or already living in it—the question isn't simply, "Will the market recover?"

The bigger question is:

Will my wealth continue to support the life I want to live?

That's why protecting your purchasing power matters.

It's not just about growing your portfolio. It's about creating a strategy that helps you:

Generate sustainable income

Navigate market volatility with confidence

Manage the impact of inflation

Maintain flexibility when life changes

Make thoughtful decisions instead of emotional ones

The women I work with have spent decades building successful careers, businesses, and lives they are proud of. They deserve a financial strategy that is designed to support those goals through changing market conditions—not just when things are going well.

Because real financial confidence doesn't come from predicting the future.

It comes from having a plan that can adapt to it.

When life gets more complex, your financial strategy should become more intentional.

Whether you're balancing a growing family, homeownership, career opportunities, business interests, or planning for future generations, it's easy to feel like you're making important financial decisions in separate silos.

At T. Sapp Financial Partners, we help clients bring those pieces together into a coordinated strategy; so every decision supports the life they're building today and the legacy they want to create tomorrow.

We're grateful for the opportunity to serve incredible clients like Fernando and his family.

Client Spotlight
"We started working with Tracee in 2021 after purchasing our home where we needed a more intentional plan for our finances. We wanted a true partner who could help us see the full picture and guide us as we built our net worth while balancing family, homeownership, and long-term goals.

Tracee brings a rare combination of deep expertise and genuine care. From the beginning, she took the time to understand our situation and helped consolidate our assets into a clear strategy.

We trust her deeply for the most important financial decisions in our lives. We couldn't recommend her and her team more highly. She's an invaluable partner in helping us build long-term financial security and clarity."

The market goes up. You feel great.

The market drops. You panic.

Sound familiar?

Defined outcome investing was designed for exactly this moment. It's a strategy that defines -in advance - a buffer against losses and a cap on gains, so you know what you're working with before volatility has a chance to derail your plan.

Defined outcome investing does not eliminate risk entirely. Nothing does. However, it helps to replace your anxiety with greater clarity.

As a fiduciary Certified Financial Planner®, my role is to help you map out your whole financial picture including your income, investments, goals and risk tolerance – and then, help ensure all of the pieces are working together to help you meet your goals.

That includes helping you understand strategies like this one, so you can have informed conversations with your investment team and make decisions that actually align with where you're going.

You've worked too hard to leave your financial future to chance. You deserve a plan that grows with you and protects you along the way.

That's what holistic financial planning looks like.
