🇺🇸 Big news for parents of newborns and young children — Trump Accounts are here.

Under this new program, U.S. citizens born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, are eligible for a $1,000 federal seed deposit — giving every qualifying child a head start on long-term wealth building.

Here's what you need to know:

💰 $1,000 Federal Seed Deposit — available when parents or guardians make the required enrollment election
🏦 Funds are invested in broad U.S. equity index funds (think S&P 500)
🔒 Accounts remain locked until the child turns 18, then convert into a traditional IRA
📋 Enrollment is done via IRS Form 4547 or the official Trump Accounts portal

Bonus: Organizations like the Dell Foundation are stepping up with additional contributions — offering a $250 deposit for children age 10 or younger in lower-income ZIP codes (median income below $150,000).

This is a meaningful opportunity to set your child up for financial success before they even start school. If you have a qualifying child, it's worth exploring enrollment today.

❣️Summer June Regional. 21,000 advisors. Spouses. Kids. All under one roof. All on (this time Kalahari at the Wisconsin Dells, kids' favorite trip.)

Every year in June, our firm does something that still blows my mind after 17 years — it gathers nearly every advisor in the country, along with their families, for a regional meeting that is nothing short of extraordinary. Free of charge. Every time.

But this post isn’t about the firm. It’s about the man standing next to me.

🍾33 years with Edward Jones. 💰Half a billion dollars in assets under management. Let that sink in. That’s not a number — that’s thousands of families who trusted him with their retirements, their kids’ educations, their futures. And he showed up for every single one of them.

I’ve watched him work. I’ve sat across from him at dinners just like this one. And what strikes me most isn’t the AUM, tenure or his witty sense of humor— it’s the character. The kind of advisor who became the kind of man this career has a way of building, if you let it.

I’m 17 years in. I think about the vacations my family has taken because of this firm. The June regionals my kids have attended. The memories made because I chose this path.

He is proof of what’s possible when you commit — to your clients, to your craft, and to showing up for 33 years with your integrity fully intact.

I’m grateful to call him a colleague. Even more grateful to call him a friend.

Here’s to the ones who built the road the rest of us walk on. 🥂 Schu

What brought to me become a ?

Today I met with a business we support through their retirement plan.

Most employees are Hispanic or Eastern European—many lack access to qualified financial guidance, aren’t sure what to ask, and face language barriers.

So we make it simple: every person—from owners to new hires—can call, meet, and ask any financial question. No minimums. No requirement to participate. Just access to real guidance when they need it.

That's my why...

💡 Will Your Money Last Through Retirement?

With people living longer than ever, retirement could last 25–30 years or more. That means planning how your money will support you throughout this stage of life is more important than ever. (Edward Jones)

Here are a few key considerations:

🔹 Plan for longevity
A longer life expectancy means your retirement savings may need to last decades.

🔹 Have a smart withdrawal strategy
Many retirees start by withdrawing around 3.5%–4% annually and adjust for inflation, though the right rate depends on your personal situation. (Edward Jones)

🔹 Stay invested for growth
Even in retirement, maintaining a balanced mix of stocks and fixed income can help keep pace with inflation. (Edward Jones)

🔹 Consider guaranteed income sources
Tools like Social Security, pensions, or annuities can provide steady income and reduce reliance on your investment portfolio. (Edward Jones)

🔹 Prepare for the unexpected
Market volatility, health care costs and inflation can all impact retirement income—so flexibility and planning are key.

📊 The bottom line: Retirement planning isn’t just about saving—it’s about creating a strategy that helps your money last as long as you do.

How long your money will last in retirement depends on your investment strategy, withdrawal plan and more. Learn how to make your money last in retirement.

🧐I'm not a fan of "outlooks" and "forecasts" because they're only accurate at that certain moment in time...and then the wind blows and changes occur.

With that being said, there are some items to consider given the momentum and slowing in certain areas of the market and the economy.

🚨If you're interested, have a read below and let me know if you'd like to discuss your assets and how to stay proactive.

2026 can be a year of positive returns and steady economic growth, in our view, but there are potential risks, including AI uncertainty and lingering inflation.
