🚧 PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION NOTICE 🚧

Our parking lot is getting completely redone! Construction will begin this Friday, October 16, and may continue to Tuesday, October 20, depending on the weather and work progress.

Please note: There will be NO PARKING available in our lot during construction.

If you are visiting our office, please park next door at the AMA-ESD building.

The IRS sends notices for many reasons. It may be about a change to your return, a question, a balance due, identity verification, or even a processing delay.

If you receive one:

✅ Read the entire notice carefully
✅ Take note of any response deadline
✅ Keep a copy with your tax records
✅ Don't pay it without checking with us
✅ Don't ignore it - even if you believe it is incorrect

If you're unsure what the notice means or how to respond, contact our office before taking action. Current SLK clients can provide us with a complete copy through our secure portal or by bringing it to our office.

If we filed an extension for your 2025 individual Form 1040 or calendar-year corporate Form 1120, the extended filing deadline is October 15, 2026.

If you have not yet provided all of your tax documents, please send them to our office as soon as possible.

Documents may be uploaded through our secure client portal or delivered to our office.

The following federal and Michigan tax deadlines are approaching:

✅ Third-quarter federal and Michigan individual estimated tax payments
✅ Extended calendar-year partnership returns — Form 1065
✅ Extended calendar-year S corporation returns — Form 1120-S
✅ Michigan flow-through entity estimated tax payments
