We are proud to announce that Kim Stallings, CPA, CGMA, has been named a Shareholder of MDA Professional Group, P.C.

Kim brings 17 years of accounting experience to this role, with lengthy years of service in both public and private accounting. She joined MDA in 2020 and has been an integral part of our Anniston and Roanoke offices ever since. A member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), Kim is drawn to public accounting for the opportunity it provides for lifelong learning, continuously expanding her expertise and bringing that knowledge directly to MDA clients.

Beyond the credentials, Kim embodies everything we mean when we say Mission Driven Advisor. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, advocating for her clients' long-term success, and contributing to the communities she serves, including her deep commitment to the special needs community here in Alabama.

Outside the office, Kim is a devoted wife to Casey and mom to her 14-year-old daughter, Kaylee. When she's not serving clients, you might find her hiking, gardening, crocheting, or getting lost in a good audiobook or podcast.

At the end of April, Chase Gilbert had the privilege of presenting the MDA Financial Merit Award at the Beta Alpha Psi meeting, rewarding students of Jacksonville State University's accounting and finance student organization. The Financial Merit Award provides two $1,250 scholarships to outstanding accounting students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.

Congratulations to this year's recipients!
