Suffolk County Chapter Rep and CSEA VOICE Local 100A Treasurer Darcel Leone was awarded a Corporate Citizenship Award in Leadership Excellence by the Long Island Business News! ✨

The Corporate Citizenship Award is given to those who by being good corporate citizens, contribute to the economic and social well-being of their employees, businesses and the community.

Honorees, like Darcy, consistently prove that true community stewardship evolves through building strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations and others that strive to meet the critical needs of the community.

"Darcy has dedicated so much of herself to advocating for providers, children, and families, and it was wonderful to see that work recognized beyond the child care community," said Suffolk County Child Care educator Gaby Paulino Pena.

Congratulations, Darcy! This recognition is incredibly well deserved, and we are proud to see you representing child care educators across Long Island.

Day 2 in the books! Talk about leaving with a full cup.

We spent today connecting with one another in a real way, talking about how to sustain and grow our programs, provide the best care for our kids, all while making sure we still take care of ourselves.

Learning together is the best part of our conference, with the new friends we've made being a close second.

As our annual conference comes to a close, remember to tag us in your posts so we can reminisce together!
