We have received a few phone calls from concerned clients because they received a phone call notifying them that the IRS was suing them. We received this phone call today at the office as well.

We would like you to know that the IRS will not contact you by phone. The IRS will send out written notices in the mail. The notices will state the specifics of the IRS concerns and what you should do to follow up.

The phone calls are scammers looking for your personal information. Do not call the number and do not give any personal information to them.

Please call the Sherriff's office if you have called the number and given out your personal information.
