What if you stopped waiting for everything to work out and started acting like you KNOW it will?

Pick the date. March 19, 2027.

Put it on your calendar.

Dinner to celebrate that it all worked out.

Not because you know HOW it’s going to happen. Not because everything is perfect right now. But because you’ve decided that the next six months are going to look different.

Make the bold moves. Take the opportunities. Pray bigger prayers. Stop shrinking your dreams to fit your current circumstances.

And when that dinner date arrives, I hope you’re sitting there thinking, “Look what God did.”

I’m claiming my seat at that table.

Who’s joining me?

Duplicate transactions can make your books look like your business spent or earned more than it did. That’s trouble you don’t need.

They can show up when a transaction is entered manually and imported, an account gets connected twice, or a payment isn’t matched properly.

Before you delete anything, compare the date, amount, and vendor. Make sure it’s truly a duplicate, then remove only the extra entry. Your bank feed is not the place for guesswork.

Save this for your next bookkeeping check, or send it to the person who handles your books. Need help cleaning up the chaos? We’ve got you.

Your business can’t grow if you’re still the one putting out every fire.

At some point, growth asks you to lead differently, trust your team, and stop trying to fix everything yourself.

What’s one thing you need to let go of so your business can move forward?

I tried to call you.

I know.

I watched it ring.

Somewhere along the way, we decided having a phone meant being available on demand.

It does not.

If I’m working, in a meeting, focused on a client, eating lunch, or simply don’t want to interrupt what I’m doing, I’m not answering.

Leave a voicemail.
Send an email.
Schedule a call.

My phone is a communication tool, not a leash.

And yes, I probably saw your call.

Growing revenue but still wondering where the money went?

More revenue does not automatically mean more profit.

You can sell more, serve more clients, and have your biggest year ever while your expenses quietly eat every dollar you worked so hard to bring in.

Growth isn’t just about making more money. It’s about keeping more of what you make.

Know your numbers. Watch the expenses. Protect your margins. And stop using revenue as the only scoreboard for whether your business is actually winning.

Because a busy business and a profitable business are two very different things.

Q4 is not the time to coast into the finish line.

It’s the time to look at what your numbers are telling you and make decisions before the calendar flips.

Clean up the books.
Get those W-9s.
Review your year-to-date numbers.
Talk to your tax professional before December 31.
Build the 2027 budget.
And decide what you are absolutely not carrying into another year.

Because January is a terrible time to discover something you could have fixed in October.

Save this list and start checking things off.

Working from home doesn’t automatically mean freedom. Sometimes it means working 12 hours a day with your laptop calling the shots.

Jennifer Dew started freelancing to support her family while staying home with her children. But between long days and sheer exhaustion, she realized she couldn’t keep building an income that required her to be at the computer every minute.

One step, one hire, one change at a time, that freelance work grew into a business.

In Episode 10 of The Financial Phoenix Podcast, Jennifer shares her journey from freelancer to CEO and the reality behind that growth.

If the business you built for freedom has you clocking in constantly, this conversation is for you.

Listen to Episode 10, out now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

You don’t get what you deserve. You get what you have the audacity to ask for.

And whew. That’ll preach.

The bigger client.
The higher fee.
The seat at the table.
The opportunity you don’t feel quite ready for.
The life that looks different from the one you’ve been settling for.

Stop waiting for someone else to decide you’re worthy of more.

Ask. Negotiate. Raise the price. Make the move.

Sometimes the difference between where you are and where you want to be is simply having the audacity to say, “I want more.”

Fear will convince you that what you see right now is all there is.

Faith knows better.

I’ve had seasons where the numbers didn’t make sense, the timing didn’t make sense, and the path forward wasn’t clear.

But I’ve also lived long enough to know that God doesn’t need circumstances to look promising before He starts moving.

So I’m done measuring my future by what appears to be missing today.

Fear counts what’s lacking.

Faith expects what’s coming.

And I’m choosing faith.

Avoiding the decision doesn’t make it cheaper. It usually makes it more expensive.

That price you know is too low.
That client creating resentment.
That team decision you keep postponing.
Those invoices you still haven’t collected.

You already know.

And every month you wait, it costs you profit, energy, time, or all three.

Growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about finally making the decision you’ve been avoiding.

So what decision is your business waiting on you to make?
