The SBA has announced that PPP lending will resume Monday January 11, 2021 for First Draw PPP customers (customers who never received a PPP Loan) and on Wednesday January 13, 2021 it will open for Second Draw PPP customers. If you think you may be eligible contact your banker as soon as possible as the funding likely will not last long!

Louisiana has revamped the criteria for the Louisiana Mainstreet Recovery Grant program. Most small businesses meet the criteria to qualify for up to $15,000. The deadline to apply is November 4th, however the funding may not last that long! For help applying, call our office today!

Economic impact payments: What you need to know | Internal Revenue Service IR-2020-61, March 30, 2020 — The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service today announced that distribution of economic impact payments will begin in the next three weeks and will be distributed automatically, with no action required for most people.

Deadline to timely file tax returns has officially been moved from April 15th to July 15th!

Louisiana Workforce Commission has expanded eligibility criteria for unemployment claims. If you are unemployed, facing reduced hours at work or been sent home without pay due to the coronavirus you may be eligible for benefits. Additionally the (1) week waiting period has been waived.
