Singapore has announced a new work pass – ONE Pass (AI & Tech) to attract top global talent in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
This new pass will replace the existing Tech.Pass and is expected to launch in January 2027. It will allow eligible professionals to work for multiple companies, start businesses, and enjoy a 5-year renewable pass with greater flexibility.
The scheme is targeted at senior AI and tech professionals, founders, and investors, with a general benchmark salary of around SGD 30,000 per month.

A meaningful pre-Chinese New Year celebration with the team — bringing together learning, culture, and connection. 🎋
The session began with a knowledge-sharing segment, followed by a catered lunch and a calligraphy experience guided by a professional teacher. Team members also participated in a friendly writing challenge, with the top three pieces recognised and awarded. 🧧
Beyond the competition, every team member’s calligraphy work was displayed together on the wall — symbolising collective contribution, shared energy, and the efforts carried throughout the year. ✨

共同申报准则(Common Reporting Standard,简称 CRS)是由经济合作与发展组织(OECD)制定的一项全球性税务透明框架,旨在打击跨境逃税行为。根据CRS要求,金融机构需向其所在地的税务机关申报客户的关键信息(例如账户余额、税收居民身份等),相关税务机关再与客户所属税务居民国或者地区进行信息自动交换。
2. 什么是 CRS 2.0?为什么现在尤为重要?
CRS 2.0 是市场上对CRS 最新修订版的通称,新加坡税务局(IRAS)正式将其称为 “修订版 CRS(Amended CRS)”。该修订主要是为了应对数字金融产品的快速发展以及日益复杂的账户与持有结构。其重要性主要体现在以下几个方面:

The Common Reporting Standard (CRS) is a global framework developed by the OECD to combat cross-border tax evasion. It requires financial institutions to report key client data (such as account balances and tax residence) to their home tax authority, which then shares this information with other jurisdictions where clients are tax residents.
2. What is CRS 2.0 and Why It Matters Now?
CRS 2.0 is a market term commonly used to describe the updated CRS framework, formally referred to by IRAS as the “Amended CRS”. It addresses the rise of digital financial products and increasingly complex account structures. Key reasons for its importance include:
Broader global adoption:
More countries are joining the amended standard for better cooperation.
-Expanded tax transparency:
Digital assets (like Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), e-wallets, and crypto derivatives) are now included, linked with the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF)
-Greater compliance expectations: Tax authorities (including Singapore’s) are introducing stricter due diligence, mandatory TIN verification, and enhanced reporting requirements.
3. Key Differences: CRS vs. CRS 2.0
Scope of assets:
-CRS covered traditional financial accounts; CRS 2.0 adds electronic money products and CBDCs.
-Due diligence & TIN Standards: CRS allowed basic self-certification and optional TINs; CRS 2.0 requires stronger identity verification, mandatory TINs, and deeper review of controlling persons.
Tax Residency Declaration:
-CRS often relied on a single declared tax residence with minimal cross-checking; CRS 2.0 expects disclosure of all applicable tax residencies.
4. Singapore CRS 2.0 Implementation Timeline
Nov 2024:
-Singapore signs the Addendum to the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on CRS 2.0 (and CARF).
June 2025:
-IRAS announces CRS 2.0 implementation -reporting to begin in 2028
January 2027:
CRS 2.0 becomes effective domestically, with revised definitions and requirements.
2028:
-First automatic exchange of CRS 2.0 data expected to commence in Singapore, covering the data for 2027 reportable year.
