Over the past few months, our poly and uni interns have been hard at work in the office, working alongside our seniors! Over the next few weeks, join us every Tuesday as we feature our interns and how they have found hashtag in their internships 🙌

First up we have Xena, a Ngee Ann Polytechnic student who interned with us for 6 months!

"At the start of the internship, my main aim was to step out of my comfort zone and gain exposure to a new field, while developing stronger analytical and professional skills. I also wanted to improve my ability to work in a structured professional environment. I believe I was able to achieve these goals! I became more confident in handling unfamiliar tasks, particularly in audit work where I had no prior experience. Over time, I improved in evaluating evidence, understanding risk, and adapting to different workflows. I also became more efficient in completing tasks and required fewer revisions, which showed my progress. Overall, the internship helped me grow both technically and professionally, and gave me a clearer understanding of how to apply my skills in a real-world setting.” ✨

A fruit a day keeps the doctor away? Yes please! 🙌

As part of our regular staff welfare initiative, we held a simple but meaningful Fruits Day earlier this week in the office! It was a fun evening as everyone came together to to enjoy a refreshing spread of fruits, connect with one another, and take a well-deserved wellness break during the workday. 🍎 🍇

A sweet treat to end off the work week! 🧋

Last Wednesday, we treated our colleagues to some bubble tea in office, just as a small gesture to appreciate them for their hard work and dedication! There were smiles aplenty as we took some time away from the desk and our laptops to just chill and relax and chat with one another (no work-related topics!) ☺️ these are all part of our regular staff welfare initiates to make FKT a great place to work.

Sharing some snaps from our mini Hari Raya celebration in office earlier this week! 💚

In case you missed it, HLB International has published its HLB Survey of Business Leaders 2026! The report examines how organisations are navigating persistent volatility and turning disruption into opportunity, drawing on more than 1,100 responses from leaders across over 45 countries (including us here in Singapore!, alongside in-depth interviews with subject-matter experts.

Here are some highlights:

🙌 88% of businesses are confident in business growth despite ongoing volatility, brought about by breakthroughs in generative AI, geopolitics, armed conflicts, and Trump 2.0.

💻 Cybersecurity remains one of the key concerns of leaders, with 74% of leaders indicating it is a key focus area. This year, many leaders will increase cybersecurity spending in line with expanding their digital and emerging technology budgets.

🌏 In the Asia Pacific, 61% of leaders believe the rate of economic growth will increase, which is the second highest region of confidence after the Middle East and Africa region at 74%!

👨‍🏫 The most effective leaders are taking a more disciplined, inward look at how their organisations truly operate. They are asking where acceleration creates real value, and where a steadier, more deliberate approach protects it. Technology, data and AI remain powerful enablers of efficiency and insight, but only when investments are grounded in clear operational outcomes rather than momentum or fear of missing out.
