The Corporate and Accounting Laws (Amendment) Act 2025 is kicking in soon.
These are 2 key things every director must know:

1️⃣ Heavier penalties for directors
Director is not just name only anymore.

If you:
- Don’t manage your company properly
- Never check accounts or finances
- Sign things without understanding

👉 Fines can go up to $20,000
👉 Serious cases → jail up to 12 months

2️⃣ Stricter rules on misuse of companies
Using company for “helping people move money” or shady transactions?

👉 Can be considered money laundering
👉 You can be disqualified as director

💡 In simple terms:
Don’t act blur as director
