A fun night out for the SCS Global Singapore team at the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Johor Region Annual Dinner 2026 last Friday; and our first time attending!

Colleagues from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru came together for the evening, making it an even nicer chance to catch up outside of work. This year’s Black & White Masquerade theme gave everyone a good reason to dress up, and our colleagues certainly did.

The highlight of the evening came when two ladies from our table were called up on stage for the Best Dressed challenge. The voting ended in a tie, so the emcee had to call for one more round of votes to decide the winner.

And the final result… our very own Zurain took home the Best Dressed title! 👏

A lot of laughter, some friendly competition, lucky draws, good food and a very enjoyable evening together.

𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘀

This year, our Event Committee planned a day out in Johor Bahru (JB) - yes, on a working Friday! It was a much-needed chance to recharge after a very busy audit peak period. More importantly, it brought our Singapore, JB, and KL teams together in one place. Three locations, three dots, and one meaningful connection.

The day was filled with lunch, paintball, ATV, mini-games, buffet, and our very own “strategic games” - mahjong and rummy. At the homestay, KTV also revealed quite a few hidden singing talents among us! 🎤

We even celebrated everyone’s birthday together, dividing the birthday stars into three groups: January to April, May to August, and September to December. One celebration, plenty of cake, and lots of birthday cheer. 🎂

Our event heroes unlocked a special reward: a Pokémon plush bag charm each - a small companion for those who helped connect all the dots. Small charm, big thanks!

One outing may not fully recharge us, but it was definitely a great start.

This year, our company trip was split by teams. The first group that visited Busan, Korea last month brought back not just memories, but a fun TikTok version of our signature spirit “One Team, No Border”! 🤩
