According to the SingHealth website, cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease and stroke are the number one killer among Singapore women, with one in three deaths of it. It's a figure higher than breast cancer.
Common factors such as high blood cholesterol, hypertension, lack of exercise, and obesity can increase a woman’s odds of developing heart disease. So are diabetes and smoking, which significantly impact women more than men.
Do not overlook the importance of taking care of your heart health. Prevention should start as early as possible.

Life is constantly changing, and so should your legacy plan. Experts recommend reviewing your will every five years, or sooner if a major life event occurs. These events include marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, or the acquisition or sale of major assets. Regularly update your plan to ensure that your wishes are accurately captured. Not only will it provide clarity and peace of mind for yourself, but it will also reassure your loved ones.
