Failure to perform daily activities is not limited to old age but also accident and illnesses although illnesses are more likely to happen in old age.

It’s sad when I see this video because dementia, Parkinson are not conditions we can choose not to have when one gets old. We have to live on until the day we can’t. Until then, do you have the means to relief the suffering?

Hi guys, living in bondee land could be a possibility now.

There's a rising trend of millenials and Gen Z wanting to move out of parents home to rent and live on our own. I did it too for 2 years! While I would definitely encourage it for personal growth, rental rates have increased more than 30%. How many can actually afford it and at what cost? Since it means delaying savings rate for the actual home.

Recently, I went through the buying process of a resale HDB. I did the Math and got a shock due to the jump in prices before accepting that this is not gonna change. Increasing cost in Singapore is here to stay.

I wish I started investing in my 20s! For parents, it's time to invest your kids ang pau money 💰!

Life is uncertain and on hindsight we wish that more was done to prepare for such unexpected moments.

In 2017, Kevin contracted nasopharyngeal cancer and underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.

In 2020, he suffered a relapse and underwent a major operation to remove malignant lymph nodes.

Then in 2022, he suffered a stroke to his left side and had to undergo physiotherapy sessions in order to regain control of his limbs all over again.

Let’s face it.

Once a while, we all take life for granted…

Until when something hits.

This morning’s sharing put us back into perspective.

Beyond the humble sharing of the tough journey fighting through cancer, we all learn what it means to be both financial and mentally prepared during tough times.

It gave all of us a better perspective what it means to be ready when it comes to unexpected moments like that.
