TAX RETURN FREELANCER PAKISTAN

If you are getting wages/income from abroad in Pakistan, you only pay 0.25-1% tax. To get a lower tax rate (0.25%), you have to register with PSEB. Armed with PSEB certificate, you can provide it to your bank so that the bank can deduct 0.25% at source. While you are at it, do also ask your bank to provide a Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC) whenever you get remittances. With 0.25% deducted and PRCs in hand, filing tax returns will be a breeze. Complying with above requirements means that all your money is 'white,' and you never have to worry about hiding your assets from any government departments. Your PRCs and tax returns can also be used as proof of income as needed.
