The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Regulations No. 4-2026, prescribing the guidelines and procedures for the one-time abatement of taxes and/or penalties for qualified micro taxpayers.

This provides eligible taxpayers an opportunity to settle certain tax liabilities and penalties under the provisions set by the BIR.

BIR UPDATE | Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 64-2026

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 64-2026, providing supplemental guidelines on the generation of the Registration Seal Badge through the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) for taxpayers with no updates on their Certificate of Registration (COR), pursuant to RMC No. 38-2026.

Taxpayers are encouraged to review the new guidelines and ensure compliance with the updated registration requirements.
