ISM High School Counseling

The HS Counseling team is hosting the Junior University Kick Off (JUKO) for parents and students on Wednesday, November 25, at 5:30PM Manila time. JUKO is an event that introduces the Class of 2022 to various pathways for life after ISM.

While the introduction of the program will be streamed through YouTube and recorded for future viewing, HS counselors will be available on the chat to answer questions for the first half.

Updates from U.S. Universities regarding Admissions Policies for the Batch of 2021:

With 725+ colleges and universities in the United States announcing test-optional policies for the Batch of 2021, over 1,450 have signed the NACAC "Test Optional Means Test Optional," affirming that no student will be penalized for the absence of a standardized test score. Many universities have made similar announcements for the Batch of 2022.

This is a reminder that words matter. They are how we represent ourselves and how we share our values and beliefs with others. What we put out into the world matters and people will hold us accountable. What we say and do impacts how others think and feel about us, which can be contrary to how we think and feel about ourselves. We expect ISM students and staff to treat everyone with mutual respect, compassion, and empathy. As ISM counselors, we will do better to teach and reinforce these concepts.
